Objective

As the lead UX designer on the project, I worked on the end-to-end design journey of the platform's development.

what does chirp do?
CHIRP or Charter Integrated Registration Platform, is the first white-label B2B SaaS platform designed for private aviation to help private agencies manage aircraft bookings for clients through a seamless user experience.

The platform enables agents to bridge the gap between aircraft owners and travellers, and helps them service the needs of their clients.

process
The process began by understanding the requirements and the end-to-end user journey. This was done through a series of interviews with the different user groups of the platform.

After gathering insights from these interviews, I created a set of journey maps that detailed each step of the user interactions and experiences across the platform. This map helped identify key touchpoints and potential areas for improvement.

Polished user journeys demarcating the various users
Given the rapid pace of the startup environment, I had to bypass the wireframing stage and proceed directly to the design phase.

The screens encompassed the traveler interface, a comprehensive booking management system, and a dedicated portal for aircraft owners to review and approve booking requests.

conclusion
This experience was one of my most demanding projects but it gave me valuable experience in handling complex workflows. The product's evolving nature required continuous iteration and refinement based on user feedback. Efforts on the project played a key role in securing $700k in capital.
